Default Head Gasket leads to electrical gremlin

Help,

I have just completed the Head Gasket job for a 2000 Disco2. Now that I have finished assembling everything, when I turn the key to ignition, the four way flashers come on (not switch) and will stay on even after I remove the key. I have pulled the battery to stop them. Also, the engine turns over but will not fire- I haven't pulled plugs or anything else yet as I am thinking this is an electrical issue.

I also wanted to mention- all the other electrical components seem to be working- Radio, headlights, etc.

Any idea's what I could have done wrong???

Join the club lol...
I clicked the switch then had to open and close the drivers door and disconnect the battery or something like that before it reset itself.

Any idea what caused it- is it something that resets???

Does it affect spark, fuel delivery, etc...

It shuts the fuel pump off and also something to do with the door locks. I am sorry I am not an expert but I came accross this the other day and just trying to help.

Try resetting the alarm, lock and unlock the doors 3 times, that should clear the lights.
