Default heat coming inside

Heat start coming inside my Disco II 2001, very very hot, a little of hot air is coming from the vents, the airconditioner works but no cold air even at LO setting.
I am planning to send the car to the dealer but I would like to have an idea what is happenig.

First, when the vent system is off, all D2's let in hot air from the engine compartment, that is very normal.
As for no a/c blowing cold, most likely low on freon.

I' new to the forum and just read your post. I have the same problem and haven't discovered the solution yet. Even when I set the temp at LO, the air is still warm. I mean when the outside temperature is about 50F or so.

If you mean when the system is off, you get hot air coming through yes, it happens. I searched a few years back and this is the quick fix:

With system on, turn fan to off (lowest position), push econ button in, turn system off. See if that keeps the hot air out next time.

Putting the temp at the lowest setting will help,,, also, I turned the air on let it cool then off...seems the air isn't so warm then....
