weeks ago a new t-stat was installed and my D2 warms up perfectly where it should be but heat only comes out when im cruising down the highway at 2700 rpm or so. When I tool around town, colder air blows out even though the gauge shows its warmed up. Why would this happen?

You never bled all the air out of your engine cooling system, there is some still trapped in the top of the engine.
Top of the coolant to the top of the coolant bottle, with the heater set on the highest temp and fan speed, allow the engine to warm up then run the engine RPM's from idle to 2000 and back and forth for a couple of minutes, that should help pass the air. If you have an air bleed screw on your upper radiator hose, try cracking it open to allow any air out also. Good luck, Mike |

the bleed screw was broken and coolant was leaking, from the upper hose. It was pretty low on coolant so I think thats why. new hose and coolant, problem solved
