I am led to believe that many UK Discos 2 have heated seat pads fitted although not wired up to the switchs as on higher spec models.
Can anyone throw light on this and how to find out if pads are in place? Don Halpin |

I pulled the switch panel and found the two (green & black) plugs just hanging there. I did a resistance check and there is some... meaning that the pads are most certainly there. I have ordered the switches and will post results next week when they are installed. I'm very hopeful that this is a $50 way to get heated seats!!

It worked!! The switches were easy to install and the seats get warm. They only get to about 80 degrees, and it takes a while, but this is better than paying $600 or so. I got switches and cover plate from Atlantic British.
