Default Heated Windshield

I have read several of the post on here in regards to the heated windshield on the disco II, my question is, I hear the click when I turn the rear on, but not on the front? Does this mean the windshield is bad? what should I check? It doesn't appear to be working even though the red light does come on. If I take to the dealer, what would they charge to diagnose the problem? 1 hr labor? more/less? Thanks guys!

Don't worry about whether it clicks or not, in your neck of the woods, you should have plenty of opportunity to turn them on and verify if they are working. You mentioned that you don't believe the front glass is being heated, when do you try to use it?
Yes the dealer will charge you to check them.

Well we got about 3-4" of snow this past weekend and I was using it then, while the car was warming up and as I was driving. it didn't seem to be doing anything, and if it was, was only working the driver side, not the passenger side. I thought the click was something that you should hear? I must be mistaken.

OK, got a better idea now that you mentioned only one side was working. Open the hood and look where the lower part of the windshield fits into the frame. You will see 2 wires hooking to the windshield, one on either side, check and see if the pass. side wire is unplugged.
