Default Heater/airco fan rattle

Since a week the heater/airco fan of my 2001 SeriesII makes a rattling noise. Have tried to solve this by alternating the fan speed but has not had any effect.

Is it easy to access the heater/airco unit for inspection and/or replacement of a fan motor?

KR

Yes, it is behind the glove box. You either have something sucked into it or a bad motor.

Mike,

Thanks for your response. I have opened the cover and checked, seems to be a bad motor. Luckily I still have a warranty from the seller.
