Default Heater core and connecting pipes

Looking for this if anyone has some used I looked so far here locally and no used ones. Its for a 2000 Land Rover Disco II I am trying to save myself from getting laughed at by my wallet.

Be careful with used heater parts, just asking for trouble. What exactly are you looking for and what sort of prices have you seen?

Are you sure it needs replacing, how do you know for sure? It can be a bear getting at it.

I am gonna follow this thread cause I just test drove a '99 Disco 1 and all the cooling components were replaced by Land Rover (radiator, hoses, etc). He said it still runs warm when its hot outside. While I was driving it I could hear it gurgling under the glove compartment, so I assume its a problem with the heater core.

Possibly, but a small percentage. That's why I asked "how do you know"..is there a huge puddle somehwere, did someone remove it??? The gurgling is one sign that the cooling system needs to be burbed...bleed whtvr.. Have you been adding coolant lately? Is it low? When was it flushed last. I'll bet a good flush and burp (on an incline) and no more gurgling.

Disco Mike, and others with help and advice..
Prices started at 411 dealer, 279 at a radiator shop, 159 at falcon werks in tucson. I want a new one but I will settle for a used good one I can get it pressure tested and also cleaned before I put it in from a local shop so my chances should be better than the average bear aye booboo?
