Help! Doors won't open - Land Rovers Only

I broke the fob for my 99' disco 2 about a month ago. Since then I've been locking and unlocking the doors by using the key hole on the driver side. Yesterday I locked the doors as usual but when I tried to unlock them none of the doors unlocked except the driver door. I tried unlocking them with switch on the dash and they still won't unlock. Does anyone have any idea what the problem is?

My sons are currently climbing over seats.

this might sound silly but try disconnecting your battery for 30 seconds. and reconnect it. then see if that works.

Before you broke your remote, did your remote unlock all 5 doors at the same time or did you have to push the unlock button twice?
Try unlocking the door 2 times and see if the second turn of the key opens the rest of the doors.

My D2 has started doing the same thing. I have not tried the battery trick yet, but mine started with drivers door. It has to be locked and unlocked with key. The rest of the doors would lock and unlock from remoke key. But, now my rear drivers side door has to be manually locked and unlocked by the door handle and pushing down the lock. Hope its not contageous.

you will need a new door latch on the door.

Sorry for the delayed response I was out of town. Thanks for the advice guys. Rovin4life you're right the dealership says I need a new door latch. Anyone have any idea what this should cost to replace or if this job is doable for a semi mechanically inclined newbie?
