Default Help lift installed

Installed a RTE 2 inch lift today and I have a question. Got everything installed and the passenger side is 3/4 of an inch taller than the drivers side. Is it suppose to be that way? I have heard of the A&B springs but I didn't see any difference in them. The springs weren't marked so I think they are the same. The front and the back are the same about 3/4 off. Will this hurt anything or is it just the way it is? Took me about 5 hrs to do it so I don't want to do it again. Please help.

Not sure about RTE, but I know OME springs (and factory) springs come with the driver side spring slightly taller than the passenger side.. that's to compensate for the drivers weight while in there... they call this 'unmatched' ... 3/4" is kinda big difference I think though.. the springs may just need to settle..

Try sitting in it and then check. I vote for them needing to settle though.

I'd say they'll settle if it was the driver's side being higher, but since you say that the passenger's side is higher, I say take the time and switch them now.

Did the same thing with my OME susp. where I didn't pay attention by thinking the springs were the same, and ended up with 1/2 inch higher on the pass. side. I Asked around exactly like you're doing, and found out about the a&b springs. Switch them and now the Disco is perfectly levelled.

Problem solved, I hope. Worked on it tonight when I got home. I leveled the rear because it was off some too. It was easy because of the SLS. That didn't help so I jacked the passenger side up again and something popped. I let it back down and measured each side again and they both measured the same, 36 inches from the ground to the middle of the arch in the wheel well. I didn't measure before I installed the lift but it seems more than a 2 inch lift. I'll post some pictures soon.

Spring probably wasn't seated properly... it happens.

They find their way into the seats- sometimes they have to rotate a little until they find where they sit happy. RTE springs aren't 'handed' left and right so it shouldn't lean. They do tend to lift a LOT. Mine has the 2" lift and it's WAY over in the front and about right in back- going to replace the rears with something else to get it level.
