Default HELP! My 03 died

Can anyone suggest where to buy a replacement motor and find a reliable repair shop in SLC?................maybe someone can offer there services thanx

Just because it dies, doesnt mean it needs a motor. You might want to be a little more specific.

I had it checked by two shops........liner slip engine overheated and died

do you think with a liner slip and engine over heat i would have to replace the entire engine or can I just replace the core?

You need to have a good mechanic look at the engine to determine what exactly is wrong, you may be jumping the gun on a replacement.

The most it might come down to is needing headgasket. Unless they pressure checked the cooling system and conclusively found a crack behind a liner then a slipped liner means nothing, these are dry liners. Some one is trying to sell you an engine/ swap
