Default hmm... need some answers

Couple things for ya'll..

1.) Is there any way to change out the hinges on the rear passenger doors so they open wider? I mean, the opening is small enough, but LR could have at least made hinges that open the door more fully!

2.) How much are belt tensioner and/pulleys because I'm getting that chirping noise when the A/C is on.

3. I was looking at the amazing suspension system that these things have and I noticed on the right wheel well, towards the front of the truck, that I've got a shock there, but on the left side, there is nothing there.

4.)My braking really sucks!.. I've heard about different rotors and brake pads ya'll have used... which are the best and how much would they cost to buy AND install?

Just a couple things that I would like answered!

Thanks!!

I've got Akebono pads. Under $200.00 for the set, no brake dust! It's been great. Change them yourself and save a ton of money. I believe I heard the last brake change someone paid for cost over $800.00! Process is SIMPLE!
Are you sure its your pads and roters that are bad? A lot of things can cause bad brakes. I'd check and see how much wear you have on your current pads and roters.

Brakes....
Def go with DBA Slotted/drilled rotors with the Kevlar pads. Disco Mike recommended them to me and they are great. It stops a Disco like an M3.
It did them with a friend who knew what he was doing, but I called around and they are approx $80 per wheel to do. Good luck, that all the answers I got@

The shock thing is your ACE attachment. It only hooks on the pass. side. As for the door, I'm also curious about that, but I think we'll have to live with it

As for the belt tension, when was the belt changed last? I've never had a belt chirp on my rover, but it did on my old ranger and a quick belt swap cured that.

I got my akebono pads from Tony over on LRRForums. I can't locate his # right now, but I'm pretty sure DiscoMike has it.

My belt was replaced at 30,000 miles.. I currently have 48,XXX miles... and I've had the vehicle since 33,000 miles.

I bought it at the beginning of January.
