hey guys,
does anyone know th procedure/process for checking your radios ground wire to ensure that it is secreulry grounded? do i need to remove head unit? (if so how do i do that? and will i need secrity code to get it to work again?) thanks for any help you cna give! -nick |

Easiest way without the need for a security code is to remove the head unit (you have to pry the plastic trim piece around the unit very carefully), leave the connector in the rear connected, and then take a voltmeter, select "continuity", and touch one lead to the metal chassis of the head unit and the other lead to a metal part of the Discovery. If you hear a long beep, it's got a good ground... If no beep, then start searching...
