Default How heavy is my Disco?

Can anyone tell me approx. how much my Disco weight?
I have a stock '01 with ACE, SLS and rear air conditioner.

The reason of my question is to see if a 3-Ton floor jack and stands will be sufficient to work on my truck.

Gracias

i think a d2 is around 4,600 lbs. 3-ton jack stands would be sufficient.

You have to remember that with a floor jack you are not picking up the entire vehicle.

Don't forget to slip a scrap of plywood under each jackstand to keep it from digging into your driveway or screwing up the floor of your garage.

Not an overhead cam V8, but rather the older pushrod, overhead valve design.

I say about 4600 pounds When I drove my moms D2 for the Dealer It felt alot heavier than my D1 which almost weight the same. I tell you one thing when you close the doors of a D2 you feel the strength the doors are heavy feels like your closing bank vaults.
