I was getting a major break job yesterday and they could not get all the air out of the lines (I’ll ask about that in a different question). They were bleeding and test driving when they were no longer able to open the hood anymore.
When you pull on the hood release the cable moves with the lever but it seems loose to me. The mechanics said they could hear the cable trying to open the front of the hood (I couldn’t). three people spent an hour trying to get the thing open, tapping, pushing pulling, using long needle nose pliers grabbing (or trying to?) the cables though the grill. Any suggestions, everyone is at a loss and it is not safe to drive? Thanks for any advice! Jim |
