Default I can't believe this happened

So, the other day it was pouring rain and me and my friend decided to go mudding. He said that he knew a spot to go so I followed him out into the country. He took me to a FRICKEN CORN FIELD. I was like WTF, and said theres no way im goin in that i'll get stuck in a second. I went to back out and this wooden pole comes with me. I get out and find about five strands of barbed wire wrapped around different parts underneath my car. most were on the driveshaft a couple were even on the U-joint. Apparently there was a barbed wire fence that was laid down that I didnt see. I dont know how it got wrapped around the drives shaftl. I thought I was just f'd right there. Every time I went to move I sounded like stuff was breaking under my car. Then we drove about 8 miles in my friends truck to get a pair of bolt cutters to get it out. By the time we got back it was snowing, so about thirty minutes later and hacking things out from under my car, we got everything out. THANK GOD, I thought for sure the car was ruined.

Sounds like you made out pretty good. Just chalk it up to the experience belt, fields are for tractors not Rovers.

In some parts of the world, Land Rovers are considered tractors....

you shouldve just went mudding man... unless you have crappy road tires if you keep your speed up and plow thru it it would be fine! Dont be afraid! Remember... Rovers are made for blokes in the country in Britian.
