I need a little help guys. - Land Rovers Only

I recently located a seller of a brush guard from a 2002 Disco 2 Kalahari Model. Im wondering if it will fit on my 2000 Disco 2. Also, for you veterans, could you please give me a quote of what you would be willing to pay for it? Its in great condition, but i wanted to do my research first. The owner recently upgraded to an ARB, so im trying to figure out if he is just trying to get rid of it, or if he is trying to make a profit. Im new to the Land Rover world. Thanks in advance everyone.

buying a brush guard off of ebay is a big risk. Its possible there is rust and not only that but the thing could need to be rewelded from some hits.

I have seen plenty of discos with just such an impact or rot.

Of course I am in the NE where everything rusts out from salt and snow.

It should fit. 1999 to 2002 Disco II's are all basicly same. 2003 is when they changed the front lights. If you're looking for a factory looking brushguard, you can buy aftermarket brushguards by Manik (cheap quality) for around $300, and Atlantic British (good quality) for around $600.
I would guess-timate the value of a used one from $100 to $200.
