Default I need new shock dampners!

Any suggestions? I just did a coil conversion, probably should have just ordered shocks then. I haven't checked my front ones yet, but I know the coils there are fine, considering the ride height is good.

But my rears are done, you compress it, very easily and it stays there.

Thanks.

After looking at prices on the Atlantic British site, wish I just bought a 2" lift

OME or Bilstein? I kind of like the write up on bilstein better.

Well I have used both on my rangie. Both do great!!! I have more time, use and experience with the OME suspension that bilstiens. However we have used bilstein on our other rover and love it! I believe bilstiens are built better and give you a better ride ecspecially in town and on road!

Pete,
How many miles on your truck?
I would suggest OME H.D shocks, steering stabilizer and most likely front coils if you have more then 60K on the front, cause they will have settled by an inch or more since new.

So I probably need new coils.

Another vote for Bilstein. Don't have any experience with OME, but have heard good things about them also.

Anyone have a picture of a truck with the 2" OME lift? Thinking about getting those coils/dampners.

Bilstein's are good shocks, but at 1/2" shorter then Factory and OME shocks, they do tend to get over extended when on hard trails.

Pete, Here is a picture of my 99 D2 with a 2 1/2" lift running 265/75/16 tires.

That looks good. Im going to get the kit from Atlantic British. They sell the OME HD coils and shocks and said it would be about a 2" lift. Tires will wait till I wear out my 235/70/16 Toyos.

If you want a true 2" lift go with the rovertym springs and OME HD shock
