This question goes along with the thread that I post the other day. When my car warms up it idles above 1000 rpm's and then drops down below 1000rpm's as it should. My question is what causes it to do that is it a sensor? The reason I ask the rpm's aren't dropping as low as they have in the past. Seems like it is ldling higher for some reason. I know it does this to get to operating temp but what controls it?

I dont know the true anwser to thois, but so you dont think it is some kind of special L R sensor, you should know that the last 14 autos I have owned all have done this very same thing. Since my first truck, I have always warmed up my vehicles one min, and warmed them down one min, and they always do the same thing.
