Well, it's been a while since I checked in, looking for some advice from the group here, and hopefully a shop that I can get this work done at...
After having all 4 wheels rotors and pads replaced with OEM parts at the LR dealer, and letting them seat for a couple months, they still squeek like a school bus. The dealer told me that "all Disco IIs do this, most people just sell them if they can't handle it." I find this hard to believe, there is no way all of you are driving around like this (luckily this is just a fun weekend car for me)... Do any of you know of a local shop in the Northern Va DC area (I'm in Gainesville) that could take my existing brand new brake setup and fix it? Additionally... anybody ever had their headliner replaced? Mine is drooping and I am way too anal to just pin it. I love the car and want it as god and the brits intended. Some lucky shop could get in on this deal as well as a lift and tire job.... Please help! -DMA |
