Default Instrument panel lights?

Well, I finally got a Disco. It is a 2001 D2 SE. My wife and I drove two and a half hours to get it. It was a great ride back. Looks like it will be a really enjoyable truck. However, we have already had our first problem. It got dark on the return home. About an hour into the drive home we lost our instrument panel lights. Also noticed the compass on the mirror and the console lights for the gear shifter was not working. Checked all the fuses, and they are good. Anyone know what the problem could be?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Default Instrument panel lights

Check your brightness wheel, left hand side right under the mirror adjuster

Moved the wheel back and forth with no change. Any other suggestions?
Thanks.

Are you sure yuou know exactly what fuse could cause this, sometimes there will be possibly 2 fuses to cover some electrical issues.

Checked every fuse, and double checked. Even had them checked by someone else. If I can't figure it out, I will have a friend at a local garage check it out for me.
Thanks
