Default Intake/Exhaust valves (Seals Question)

Hi, I have a 99 disco SeriesII, All the Intake valves have seals, but the exhaust valves don't.

Is this going a problem? Should I put seals on the exhaust valves, visa versa, leave it, etc . . ?

Thanks for any info. it is much appreciated!

every engine that i've worked on had valve seals, both i/e. unless it's a rover thing,..... the shop manual shows them on both.

what kind'a problem are you having?

It had a blown head gasket. I got the heads back from the machine shop yesterday (luckily they tested perfect) and didn't want to pay them the 150.00 to do the seals on the pistons. Although now that I started to do them, it might have been worth it. Thanks for the info.

The only problem some of the D2 heads have are valve guides hanging up the valves, not a lot of them out there doing that, but it does happen.
