Default L Shaped Hoses 03 - Disco Mike

Mike, the hoses can be located by following the air intake to where the yellow sticker is right b/f the intake manifold. Directly at the yellow sticker there is a L-shaped hose and an identical one on the other side. Both of these on my disco have small cracks where they connect to the intake manifold but they are minimal and do not go out past the hose clamps.

P.S. how do you tighten or loosen those hose clamps? I'm used to ones that require a screw driver.

I'll add pictures of the oil on the top of v.cover on driver side and the leaky valve cover on the passenger side when I get a chance.

Thanks

I am old, not necessarily blind but on a good day, I couldn't see what your talking about on that thumb nail picture.
E-mail me something I can see.
Yhanks,
Mike

Default 4.6 L shaped hoses

Mike, try these. Hoses located directly above dipstick. The large 1-2inch diameter hoses that connect to the air intake and intake manifold

If you look at them it will become apparent how they can be taken apart.
You can use a screwdriver to pop them loose and a pair of slip joint pliers to put them back on if you want to reuse them.
