I have coolant leaking on my engine close to the firewall but can't seem to find where, anyone have any ideas on what could be leaking and how to fix it

It is most likely the valley pan gasket under the intake manifold, should be a pretty easy repair.
You might want to have someone pressure tets the coolant system to verify.

I think I ran into the same issue that Mike is referring to. I had a leak that was dripping down from the rear of the block, down onto the exhaust. Further investigation found it to be coming out of the gasket on the underside of the throttle body, then running down the valve cover to the rear of the engine. Replacement part from Atlantic British is about $15 and is called the Throttle Body Heater Plate Kit MGM00010KG.

Mike - is that the same part that you refer to as the Valley Pan Gasket?
