I bought my first Land Rover last week (2000 Disco II) and already I love it! But as with any used vehicle, it came with a surprise or two. My wife & I took it on a little road trip, about 1100 miles, and I lost about 1/2 the level in the coolant overflow tank. I found it in the carpet on the passenger's side foot well. I checked the local auto parts stores and couldn't find any Haynes or Chilton manuals on Land Rovers, so I need to know if there any tips or potential pitfalls in removing the heater core for repair. Any and all assistance gratefully accepted.

You might want to see if you can find a Rave CD, sometimes sold on E-Bay, as well as some sites on line where you can download them for free. The CD will have the complete manual, pictures and all and will give you all the information you need.
Good luck with the project. Mike |
