Fellas, I am wanting to add some lights to the truck since my passenger side fog is bad. I replaced the buld in my driver side and who ever had the truck before me replaced the passenger side buld incorrectly and it is melted and stuck in the socket. Anyway, considering mounting new lights and just want to get an idea of what to do. I am also thinking of replacing the bumper for a more rugged look. I will keep my old one just in case I want to put it back.

There really isn't alot you can mount when using the factory bumper do to a lack of support in the bumper to hold the lights without vibrating.
There are alot of aftermarket bumpers, new and used out there, the only draw back there would be you may need to replace your front springs if the new bumper is too heavy, but that is not a big deal when you consider the end result of how your truck would look. Mike |
