Default LR Extended Warranty - Questions on Coverage

Good day everyone,

Do you know if any of these issues are covered under LR extended warranty? I know some are but unsure on how many times. Some of these issues were previously fixed under standard or extended warranty.

1- ABS, HDC, TC lights on; similar problem covered less than a year with a bad left front wheel hub, bearing and ABS sensor. Most likely the problem is on another wheel at this time.

2- Oil leak from the left valve cover gasket; also, another leak possibly from the front main or rear main seal gaskets. Both valve cover gaskets were replaced under standard warranty about two years ago

3- Horn works from time to time due to a ground problem. LR dealership installed a bypass cable on the steering column but the cable keeps coming loose. I have it documented on about three work orders from previous visits. They keep reattaching the cable and it keeps coming off. The other day I almost got into an accident while driving with the family.

4- Rear sunroof guide broken, assembly replaced not more than two years under warranty. I read the contract and they don’t cover water leaks or rattles, but I am not getting water in and there is not rattling but one side of the guide is broken.

5- Coolant smell from time to time on or around the engine. Reservoir goes empty from time to time as well, documented visits where they tested in two or three occasions, last time they found a small leak and replaced radiator and throttle body gasket under extended warranty. This time I had to refill two times, but took a picture when the reservoir was empty. Head gasket going bad maybe?

I have a ’01 SE7 with SLS and ACE, and 67K, last time they refused to fix my ACE due to corrosion on the lines, bought the lines and my Indy guy took care of it.

Just curious as of how many times or for how much they can put claims on your extended warranty. I don’t want to cut myself short if something else goes wrong with the engine or transmission on my last eight months of coverage. I bought the LR extended warranty for three years or up to 100K.

Thank you all

Those issues should all be covered and if you have any questions about coverage you should ask the finance manqager for a copy of the policy.
