Default Metal shavings on oil drain plug

I changed the front and back differential's oil last weekend, it seems as if this hadn't been done before (72K 2001 model). There was an impressive array of metal shavings on the magnetic plug.
Anybody else seen these before on Disco's ?

I guess that without a service history when buying a used Disco (or any other vehicle), it's good to go and change all oils asap.

IMAG,
I agree with FUNROVER. Dont panic but another oil change is in order.
I too have an 01 unit and had some shavings. Hopefully it is from the initial break in. Check the thread with the synthetic options and see if you can use AMSOIL.

You've got a female plus in there. Replace it with a male one.
