Buy one and you'll find better things to blow your money on.

I had to come back and say this. This has got to be one of the all time dumbest post yet, and this is on a fairly brain function challenged board!

For what it's worth, I had it on my old 4 cyl. Jeep YJ. I had the whole MSD computer and Blaster2 coil. Along with super low restriction wires (ACCEL 300+) it had really improve the performance.

The first problem here is that you posted this question in the Discovery2 forum, and that the second being that the Discovery2 does not have a coil. And nor do they have leaf springs

Of course none of that info will help with a D2. If you do buy one, do what I like to do, research. I like all the geeky stuff that goes into these trucks.
I don't mean coming on sites like this and asking questions,( you'll get varied wrong answer mixed in with half truths! ) but seek out the technical data on how it works and then ask questions.
The more you know, the more you can wade through the crap and get the right information. And don't take anyones word for it! You may be sorry. Have the people that post information in this forum don't even own a D2.

Coil for Coil, It isnt going to make a serious difference, and the extra load could overwork the moduale.

If you want to do something that matters, do this.
http://www.rangerovers.net/rrupgrade...ngine/msd.html

It works, it's feild serviceable, and you can have a MSD sticker on your car and have it mean something.
