Angry Multiple Misfires/SES Light flashing

I'm at my wits end so I came here out of desperation to get to the bottom of my problem... My 2000 Disco II is displaying the following codes: P0300 - multiple cylinder misfire, misfires in cylinders 4, 6, & 8 and the code for the bank 2 pre cat O2 sensor. So far I changed the Plugs (used the Champion OEM plugs), Changed the wires, Changed the Coils, and Cleaned the MAF Sensor. Does anyone have any ideas? Would there be any reason why all of the misfires are on one side? Thanks in advance. Please help!!!
Pulling my hair out,
Heather

Heather, I have not a clue except to say that I intend to stay GLUED to this posting. May I ask where you are getting the codes? I need to learn this trick...

I've been getting the codes read at Advance Auto. They do it for free.

Thanks for the input. Seriously though, I wonder if it actually IS a multiple problem given that cylinder #2 is not included in this issue of yours. Also, given that it is isolated to a specific cylinder-bank, I wonder if it is not the ECU?

Ok, back up a bit. What is the engine doing? Do you still have the codes after changing plugs and wires? (did you get the codes cleared?) Cleaning the MAF will do nothing but kill it...so you'll probably need a new one. None of the codes you've listed would indicate a bad MAF

How many miles are on the engine?
Also do you have all of the exact codes? That may help.

The engine runs smooth for the first 3 min or so and then starts missing after it warms up a bit. It will run smooth and every couple of min miss again and so on. There are 112000 miles on it (just recently changed the speedometer cluster because somebody prior to me owning it destroyed the SES light- the mileage is still blinking but that's another topic for another time). The codes it is bringing up are P1300, P0300, P0154 and then duplicate codes of P0304, P0306, & P0308.
At the beginning of the week after changing the wires for the first time it pulled all the above codes except the P0308. Yesterday, I put in another new set of wires that are OE recommended wires and then it showed the new P0308 code. Hope this clarifies.

A misfire on a Gasoline engine is cause one one or more of 5 things is missing.

Air coming in and out.
Fuel, quantity and atomizing.
Spark quality
Engine Timing, both static and dynamic
Engine compression.

Its really that simple. If you are misfiring, you are missing at least one of these things.

Gasoline Otto Engine No start/Misfire Diag Principles.

Read this, test don't guess, stop shotgunning parts and fix the car!

if it misfires after warming up I would look at a leaking head problem.
the oxygen sensor sounds like coolant blinding the oxygen sensor as it leaks by the head gasket.

I would have the head pulled and check for damage at a machine shop and then install a new headgasket

Or, before taking off your heads on a hunch, you can test and confirm.

Work the problem, dont make it worse by guessing.

She has already thrown enoguh time and money at it.... She isn't getting paid flatrate for it.

OK so I had to wait until it got dark enough to spray the wires. So I sprayed the wires and saw sparks everywhere. It looked like a christmas tree!!! Anyway, I'm going to purchase the magnacor 8mm wireset and hopefully dust my hands off. Ill keep you posted of the outcome.

BIG THANKS to Mike and everyone else for the help. Thanks for taking the time to help me out!!!

She used an old windex type of bottle and sprayed the 2nd. set of new plug wires with water while shaking them in the dark. The engine compartment lit up with blue sparks.
This time she will get some good wires, Magnecor's.
