Default My first Fault Code.

I just picked up a innova 3100 OBDll. Mass airflow sensor was replaced last week and yesterday the SES light came on for the second time during my 7 days of ownership. No biggie gave me a reason to pick up the Innova. This is the code I have now."P0188 Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit High Input"

Just curious, why did you replace your MAF?
As for this code, looks like you may be needing a new sensor, how is the truck running?

I purchased the LR from a dealer 150 miles away on a friday. I drove my Montero over there. After I took delivery I drove the LR Home. The next day. "saturday" Me and my wife get into the LR and head back over to the dealer to pick up the Montero. about 1/2 mile from the dealer there was a walgreens ,we stop to pick up a few items. Upon restarting the LR a couple secs later the SES light comes on.When I get to the dealer I get my sales guy and tell him how much I like the Vehicle and by the way the SES light came on at walgreens down the street. He runs it into the shop and has the Mech check. 10 mins later he comes back telling me the fault code is the MAF and since I live far away to just have my mechanic fix it and they will foot the bill. So that is why. Sorry for the long story but it would only make sense that way.

The LR runs great, I have been getting about 15 miles to the gallon and last fill up I added a bottle of the LR fuel conditioner.

If the fuel temp sensor needs replaced, where is it? I plan on getting a Chilton here soon. I bought a 2 year extended warranty from Toyota, but for the little things I will just do myself.

Don't buy a Chillton manual, go on line and down load a free Rave CD for 02's, they will have much better information.

sounds like somebody pulled the upper intake and left both the maf sensor connector loose and something else loose as well.
