Default Need diagram to remove instrument cluster 2000 Disco II

Need to replace the light that illuminates the mileage. Does anyone have a diagram or instructions to show how to remove the instrument cluster? For example is it necessary to remove the steering wheel?

I now have the replacement light from the dealer. Can anyone tell me how to remove just enough of the dash or instrument cluster to replace the light?

Thx

Well I can tell you this, there are two screws right behind the top of the steering wheel that go into it, and then two clips on the back portion of the unit... the 2 screws and 1 of the clips is broken on mine though... so mine just lifts straight up... not quite sure how those screws work, but the clips just go straight up.

Discofacelift - thanks for the Rave diagram. It says first to remove the steering wheel! Think that's necessary? Just to replace one light.

I thought it said that until I read it again, it says remove the steering wheel casing, it basically means take the cowling off from around the steering column.

So my speed reading course did it to me again. The dealer will not have another replacement light for a few days so I will thankfully put this off until next week.

Thanks to all for the help.
