Default New Owner - Mystery Plug??

Hi fellow Disco II owners,

Thanks to this forum I plunged in and just purchased a 99' Disco II SE7 with winter package. I have read the manual's purchased the repair manual (in transit) and followed all of your advice for scheduling new timing belt rteplacement etc. This vehicle will see the mud, and will start it's transformation into a weekend wheeler.

A QUESTION:

In the engine compartment near right near the cruise control diaphram is a yeallow plug ina cylinder form with two metal contacts... It lookes like it would fit a femal receptacle, however, I can't find anywhere it goes? I found it while replacing my vacuum lines to get my cruise control back online. It is part of the harness feeding the cruise control, and looks like it was plugged into something at some point. Any ideas where this goes/went? There is very little slack so I would expect it to fit near or right around the diaphram but did not see an obvious place?

Josh
