Anyone know where I can find a new or used Block for an 02 Disco II? I ran a google search and tried about everywhere, but I didn't know if you guys had anymore contacts. Thanks. I don't need the complete engine, just the block, 4.2 or 4.6.

Sadly, a good used 4.6 block is problematic as most have cracked and/or lost a liner and been tossed for scrap. Prices in the US have always been astonishing. LSNA prices are no normal butl but they set the LR price pace in the US. Even "Factory remanufactured" or "rebuilt" blocks are incredibly priced..more than new anywhere else. The smart money buys new and from the UK. Fresh NEW Coscast (bullet proof) 4.6 short blocks start at $3300. Here's one. SIMMONITES There are others if you google a bit. Best of luck James |
