EBC will stop faster, make less dust, less prone to throwing the 2 Amigos, last longer. Yes, go for them.

So, Brian, have you run EBC's yet?
I have been doing some searching lately because I am needing to replace my old Kevlar pads, now with 78,000 miles on them, and the EBC Green Stuff, both the 6000 and 7000 series run circles around any of the quote OEM pads.
Then there is the issues of running a slotted and drilled or dimpled rotor, no solid rotor can out perform these, even when going up against the cheap sets sold on E-Bay.

Mike, I saw in another post about you searching for new pads, rotors and no I have not run EBC's although I hear they are a great setup. There is no doubt in my mind the EBC's would out perform the OEM pads and rotors.
I don't want to jinx myself but it looks like I'll have to now. - - - - While running OEM pads and rotors I have not had one single problem with the three amigos or any other brake related problems in 43K+, yes I still have pad left!. I have had some dust issues and squeaking every now and then but other than that I've not even been temped to buy the ABS Amigo... KNOCK ON WOOD!
To me it comes down the the three amigos problem weighed against better performance and pad/rotor wear. I'm not sure the EBC's would even trip the 3 guys but I know my OEM have worked well in that aspect.
People have reported to have good luck with roverguy.com OEM brakes. I bought them for $285 shipped (front and rear rotors and pads) but have not put them on yet. I will report after I have used them for a while. FYI the rotors are italian by Pilenga and the pads are by Quality Friction.
Well, good info, I just got a quote from the land rover dealer here in Atl for just parts on brakes, front and rear pads and front and rear rotors my cost is about 620.00, how does this compare to the EBC kits?? I need brakes!
