Default Oil and ur LandRover?

I was wondering if anyone has had any partictular success with any particular brand of Oil? I am not looking for an advertising frenzy. It is just that my brother asked me about Amsoil since he can get it wholesale. Anyone use this stuff on the LR? Anyone rec'mnd something else?

ps. if there is a section on the boards where people talk about that please point me that way, I just joind and don't know all the "ins and outs" yet.

It works better if you use it to reheat McD's fries, or to cook a small child first.

Amsoil should be fine.

I use Royal Purple.

Search for the long ass Oil thread, it has some very useful info if you want to get Real anal about your oil.

Default Oh, man....

Did somebody say oil?? BTW? Looking at the map where you post your location. Doesn't look like there are many North Carolina members. Sorta sad, I'm only 45 minutes from URE! Just wondering.
