Default Ordered the Rovertym 2" for my D2 today!!

Ordered the standard 2" Rovertym lift w/ OME's and OME SS. I was going to get the procomp +2" shocks, but Steve at Rovertym recommended the OME's. I'll post pics as soon as the lift is installed.

7/19/06-
Added pics front/rear. I need 16's!! I also removed the fender flares. Sorry, but these are the best pics i can take right now.

Of course he did- that's what he makes $ on and there's only one place with DII ProComps...
Hope your OME SS lasts longer than the 4 months mine did.

I think you'll like the RTE springs, as I have the same ones on my RRC, real nice ride, and with new shocks, it will be like a new riding truck, almost.

I'm happy with OME shocks.

Can't wait to have the lift installed...I'm having JC Rover do the install.

So Steve, how can i get bushings?
The Procomps are ok but to be truthful if you lay them beside the OME there's no comparison. The OME is just a better built shock.
I do however really like the extra travel. Keeping your wheels on the ground is pretty important.
For the price I paid for the Procomps I'm ok with them. If I really hated them I would put my OME's back on. Building a truck is all about trying new stuff.
If you guys out there starting want to build a truck and want to start with inexpensive shocks, at least for the D2, try the Procomps. So far they haven't failed me, they just knock and rattle. It used to be just off road they did this but now it's on road also.
So hook me up with some bushings and lets see how they do!

If Wally needs different bushings, he can call and ask for them. Not a problem. I think we've replaced the bushings on a couple sets out of the 20K, yes- 20,000 shocks we've distributed worldwide. Things like that can happen. I suppose the people who now and then post about OMEs going bad is just a fluke, eh? It's only when a procomp has a problem that you notice...
If he needs a harder bushing- I'll hook him up... he knows that...
This is another reason why I went OME...I didn't want to deal with replacing bushings when they fail. On my Acura RSX, I purchased a set of Koni Yellow's when they first came out and had to swap them out 3 times because they leaked oil from top of the strut. I still don't know if they ever fixed the problem. It was a pain and took too much of my time. I had the rattle/knock on a set of rancho 9000's and had to replace the bushings several times.

Got the lift installed today thanks to JC Rover 4x4. I'll post pics when I get the chance. Can't wait to test out the new lift.

I'm going to trim my front bumper and add a set of Jate rings until I can get a new front bumper. Next on my list is CDL and 16's.

I'm hoping to test out the suspension soon. I had to clean the truck 'cause I sprayed the fenders with goo gone to take the adhesive tape off. Didn't want the goo gone to eat up the paint. You hitting the trails anytime soon? I can't make MRM...I have to fly to Cali and check on my house.

Btw, nice setup, I hope you enjoy it. Heh, im running the opposite; OME springs and Bilstein 7100 shocks (from RTE). IMO OMEs are great shocks, very expensive, but great.
