Default P0308, P0300 Codes

Hello All,

Great site. Have been following this site since becoming a LR Discovery owner. I have an 2003 Discovery SE w/ 104,600 miles. Rebuilt front driveshaft, head gasket replaced at 68,000 miles, replaced power steering pump, replaced water pump, and performed all major service except for plugs and wires, (ordered STI, and Bosch +4’s, plan to change on Weds.). I power washed the engine a few days ago, with no problems. Today, I drove it 1 mile to the store and on my way back, the SES light started flashing. When I got home, I connected the code reader Innova 3100 (great tool to have) and the following codes were returned P0308, P0300, P0308. Wire and plugs? Will be changing out wires/plugs on Weds.

Land Rover Discovery II: Proprietary OBDII Codes > Northwest Overland Society > Most Recent.

i would do spark plugs and wires and then clear the codes and see if they come back up

Yes, do the plugs and wires. When you get ready to do the wires, send me your number and I'll walk you thru what to do.
