Default Paint wearing off the body in the rear passenger door openings???

Is this a common problem??? The paint that is on the rear dog leg[?], the section in the rear door opening closest to the wheel, is being rubbed or worn off by the big flat door seal that is attached to the edge of the door lower section [i know it's hard to describe and i'll try to post a pic tomorrow].

My concern is that i'm going to get rust in this area if i don't re-paint it but there's no use if it's going to keep wearing off......anyone deal with this before????

Thanks, Dean

Default

if it is the hinges you are talking about then I suspect the pin is broke inside and you need a new one, Either that or adjust the rear cargo door.
