If you don't get it running soon, your wife will be hotter then the outside air and you'll be sleeping by yourself, at which point you will pay anything to get it fixed.
Pulling a dash on a D2, if needed, is one terrible job, requiring lots of experience and many hours, 10 to 20 easily especially if you have only done it once or twice. Go pay a few dollars and have some one give you an estimate, after all, it is along time till winter. Mike |

Surely there are some Land Rover Technicians on this forum that have seen this issue before. Anybody out there to help these folks with their hot and cold AC ????

I have the same problem with my '99 DII, except that the driver's side runs cold all the time. But to add to the weirdness, last year the passenger side ran warm until I pushed the rear air button on. This summer it has not made a difference. I don't have the $$ to take it to the dealer right now so I am hoping my wife's complaints don't get worse before I have the money!

Are both the driver and pass. side set at the same temp ??? Have you tried playing with the pass. side temp control to see if it gets any warmer at all or stays the same throughout the range.

The temp settings are always the same on both sides, and it does not seem to make a difference where I set the settings. I have tried to go up and down with both settings, but to no avail, the passenger side blows warm, and the driver's side is cool, and the back is nice and cold. If I turn the back air off then both the drivers and passenger's side blow warm.
