Default RAVE CD and Owners manual

Tried the download. Can't open the pdf files. It's telling me I need a Adobe plugin. I have the latest version of Adobe.

What do I look up on Ebay to find it? I remember seeing a post on what to look up exactly under Ebay Motors.

Also, where to find an owners manual? Found those on Ebay, but do i have to pay 50 bucks for one?

Sorry for so many posts. I want to get started on checking fluids and other maintenance but feel like I'm stuck. Mind you I've only had the Rover for a two days

got it. Thanx. Took a minute to work it but I got it. There seems to be an owners manual on there too. Seems to be an 01. Is there a big difference from the 2000 model?

There aren't many significant differences between 00 and 01 that I know of.

ok, i downloaded the disco II RAVE CD last night from green oval. it works great, but the file was made in 2003. Thus being for the 1999-2002 discos. I drive a 2004 Disco.

Is the a RAVE CD for the 04 discos? If so anyone know where I can download it or where I could get it for free like on green oval?

Also, is there a RAVE CD for the LR3s? (2006 is what i'm interested in)

Thumbs up

Go to www.landrovertechinfo.com

Factories are supposed to keep owner's manuals online, with free access.
You will have to register. Then you go to view owner info, select your vehicle, check owner handbook and you are in business.
It is a PITA to download. Suggest you download all chapters (pdf) in a subdirectory, with different names according to the pages, and then try to combine them with acrobat.

Good luck
Jorge

P.S.: if you want, you can buy a subscription for one day and download all literature, technical bulletins, recalls, etc, for your specific model.

Stolen, the only difference between an 03 and an 04 DII is the Aero roof rails. Everything else is identical. No mechanical or electrical changes. Or so the head LR tech at my dealer tells me.

Roger that. Misunderstood in my haste. The brushbar install is simple though. If you can't figure it enough to be comfortable with, run over to the east coast. We can do it in my shop. We'll use the Forklift to hold it in place, and have it done in an hour or less.

well time is one of my constraints, driving a few hours to the east cost for installation when I could install it myself with 2 hours or have a dealership do it in an hour or less lol. this is an awkward parts situation my dad has put me in, but it is what it is.

I hear that. I'd run over to you to help you out. But i'd be away from all of my tools. But... it would give me an excuse to go to the WingHouse for lunch.
