Default Rear air bag inflation problem! Can't exactly figure it out.

I decided to keep my '00 Disco II as a back up vehicle. I decided to drive it yesterday and immediately I noticed some thing. My rear air bags were sagging which I wasn't worried about, due to the rover has been sitting for over a month. After going about 5 miles the air bags acted like they were blown out. While driving down the high way the rear was sagging and would not inflate. After getting to work, I parked it and at lunch drove the rover again and the bags inflated and the rover rode like it normally would. And after work it did it again. So I think it is something electrical, just not sure what.

So, I take it, it drops equally on both rear corners?
You are probably going to need to have a mechanic with a Auto Logic type scanner, reset the SLS thru your ECU.

Thanks Mike! I guess it looks like I am going to have to make an un-wanted trip to the dealership, No one araund my area has a cpu that works with the Rover. My mechanic(you actually talked to him via phone a few months ago, when trying to get my CDL engaged) called around and said that the Rover dealer ship is the only guys that can do it for me.

Make sure you let them know the truck sat quite awhile, ask them to check it for SLS codes, they will undoubtedly give you a grocery list, ask them to clear the codes and drive it for a couple days to see if it is now OK, if not let them know you will be back for possible repairs later.
Let me know what happens.

by chance, would dis-connecting the battery and re-connecting the battery have the same affect?

It did on mine once, or it may have been a timely coinsedance.
Can't hurt to try, you will need to reset your a/c temp controls back to "F" afterwards.
