greetings. searched the forum and found the link for the parts. before i go ahead and buy them, is there any other reason why the two rear doors do not unlock either with the remote or internal unlocking switch. is it the door actuator for sure?
thanks Mike in Canada |

I just had my three year old (2004 - DII) rear passenger door lock actuator replaced under warranty. It quit working for a while then started working again. At the 45K mile service it wasn't working again so I had them replace it. I don't know what causes the thing to stop working but the only solution seems to be to replace the actuator. But, if I had to pay for the part, I'd sure take it out and fiddle with it, lube it and curse at it before replacing it!

Mike,
When you try to lock or unlock, do you hear any noise from either rear lock or feel them trying to move? Did they both go out at once or over a period of time? If you do need to replace them, you might want to o to this site, http://www.roverlandparts.com/index....S&Category=296 great place for guaranteed used parts with decent prices. Mike |
