Default Resetting DII Thermometer

Alright, so I tried to reset the ABS codes (just incase they were tripped and not a persistant problem) by the old "unhook the battery" thing. Well it didnt do anything....except reset my clock and my thermometer.

I did it when it was about 35 degrees outside, and now that its 55 degrees its reading 20 degrees...

How do you reset it so its correct??

Josh,
You remember those famous words, " Find a Rover text Book"???
Hey as cold as it has been getting up there, you should'nt have to look at the temp guage to know it is cold out.

It must be just right if it's displaying the temperature in celsius instead of farenheit. Press and hold the recirculation button and at the same time press and hold the power button for about 3 - 4 secs or until you hear a beep. That would have converted the display back to Farenheit.

thanks bruinlad, ill give that a try.....should have thought of some sort of celsius mode.

DiscoMike....why do I need a text book when I have the forums?? ....I should get one though.

*edit* Cool it worked.....dang..I should have thought of that. I got stuck on the idea that somehow the temp sensor reset to the present temp as zero....hehe

Josh,
I forgot about the truck reseting back to celcius, I stand corrected. I was thinking the temp sensor needed to be recaulbrated and that does need a text book, which by the way you don't want to buy at a mere $20,000 with all the goodies.
Stay warm and have fun with all that snow.
