Any suggestions for tires that will be used exclusively on road? About to buy the terra grapplers, but i think they might be too aggressive for my purposes. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

i've got Michelin Diamaris 4x4 on my 18" wheels. they feel great on the road, so far have good wear and no road noise. they have really suprised me offroad. the look like drag slicks, but have gotten me through some really sticky situations.

thanks for the quick input. if i decide to go with the grapplers am i losing anything when compared to the bridgestone duellers (pros and cons)? I am located in PA, so we get ice and snow, which is why i am considering the nittos. Thanks again for the help.

My LR I just Purchased have the
Kumho Ecsta STX 265/60R-18 110H BSW They are about 40% Tread left and they are Pretty quiet and they look good and the size fits the D2 perfect. I will be changing them here real soon for a more aggressive tire but they might be a good option for your LR.

I ran the Bridgestone Revo's(duelers) on my 99 and I am running the Nitto-Terra Grapplers currently on my wife's 2001 Disco. Both are very smooth, but the Revo's are a little more quiet. The Revo's wore really well, but its too soon to tell with the Grapplers. The Grapplers are less money and were rated number one in Consumer Reports(for all terrain tires) in snow and ice and I think the Revo's were a close second. Both have been/were fantastic in the winter here in Utah.
Both are a good choice, but might say the Revo edges out the Grappler on pavement.
