Default Rough running TD5

my 99 TD5 has got me stumped. A few motnhs ago it started running, as if on only 4 cyclinders, but only when cold. When switched off and started again, the problem disappeared. Now it has a permanent problem, but only when it warms up. Engine runs fine when cold, but just after the temp guage reaches its normal spot, the engine loses all power and runn very rough at lower revs. At idle, it sounds just like on cycliner is out. Have cleaned the manifold sensor which was very gunky, cleaned the ecm and injector loom plugs and cleaned the air flow meter. When it's running rough, you can disconnect the air flow meter plugs and it seems to make no difference. Could the air flow meter be my problem??

Default Problem solved

My mechanic has found the problem, a short in the injector wiring loom inside the head. Quite a common problem apparently. caused by oil contamination at the top of the plug inside the hot oil environment. Computer showed it up as an injector short.
