Default RTV sealant on LR gaskets?

I am aware of our head gasket issues we all face. Also, "If it ain't leaking, its out of oil. Im on my third Disco. 04' with 65k miles. Down the road when all the gaskets are replaced, will it help to use RTV gasket sealant. I know a few LR stealerships with lightly use it, others never. Is there a bombproof solid fix?
Or just deal with it every 100k miles?

I have always been a Mobil 1 full synthetic 10/30 guy. Has anyone seen any improvement with another brand? casterol, royal purple?
Theres no leaking now, Im just curious why out of the factory LR wont slap on sealant. My guess is, it wouldn't make a difference anyway!

Thanks, Bodie

Coper spray works better from what a couple of shops have to me.
I use Mobi 1 and am starting to believ, that although it is a good product, Royal purple may give it a run for the money.

you can use the sealant on parts of the intake gasket or the valve covers but thats about all.

on the heads nothing but the gasket. I dont use copper sealant at all on any head gasket. too many issues.

I have also used aviation sealant on the intake gasket around the water jackets and it works well. but thats the only place. you can use spray on gasket maker on the water pump and the frt timing cover. works well on paper or cork gaskets. it can be used on a valve cover if you like as well. but upper intake has to be dry as well. they are machined together and it holds air. so possibility of air leaks with the stuff.

and your 04 will start to use when the intake causes air leaks or just goes bust and leaks oil out. the issue was bad gaskets caused by stuffed up pcv hoses. replace the separator and install a new gasket and no more oil consumption.
