Well, I went to the dealership to see what this part would cost, to my surprise they were $36 cheaper than Atlantic British ($163 vs $199). I had to wait one day for it, but it was a 30 minute change. Two mounting bolts, a bolt on the end of the shaft coming out of the transmission, and one electrical plug. Bolted the new one up, attached the shift cable, cleared the P0705 code and CEL. Drove off and what a difference, the gear selector glides to the indents almost effortlessly. Very easy fix, I hope this helps someone in the future.
