I seafoamed my truck this evening, got a ton of smoke but the check engine light wen't on. Is this unusaual? Will it go out after awhile or will I have to get it reset? Thanks tom

The light will come on usually after pushing to much fluid to fast, usually it will go off after a 4 or 5 start cycles, if not, as already mentioned, it is off to the local auto parts store to get it cleared.
Did you also clean your t/body and iodle control unit? Mike |

I think that one the most important purchases one can make after buying a rover, is an OBD2 reader. For $150.00, you can get one that will give you the codes with its description and allow you to reset your computer. That way, no matter where you are or what time it is, you don,t have to rely on anybody else.

Nearly any OBD2 scanner will pull codes from Rover, the more expensive gives you alot of extra feature that most people won't use.
To clean the t/body, remove the air intake hose, pushing it off to the side, look inside the t/body, see all the black build up, spray it with carb spray, open the plate spraying on the back side, scrub with and old tooth brush and wipre out with some paper towel. Mike |
