Question SLS Acting Up!!

Hello there:

Quick question, I have a '01 DII ACE, SLS with 56K miles, at home my truck is parked on a 30 degree angle and today I noticed that the rear right side was very low almost touching the tire. the left side was a bit low but not as much as the right side, maybe it looked lower because the other side was down. Since I bought the truck two years ago never had any problems with the SLS system. I remember somewhere in this forum that cold temperature affect the SLS bags. Anyway, is this a sign of a upcoming SLS problem? I turned the truck on and the level when back to normal, since yesterday the temperature in New York has been below 25. Thanks god for extended warranty

as always your input is very much appreciated.

You may have a bag leaking, how many miles on the truck?
Mine used to leak down on the left side if I let over the weekend, verified the leak and at 85,000 miles replaced both bags, it has been fine ever since.
By the way living in Colorado we have had temps down to the -10 range at night and mine don't drop.

Mike:

Can it be one bag or a system problem? I just looked again the right side is all the way down and the left is half way down. In other words the whole rear of the truck is down below normal height. Can the entire system be leaking somewhere other than one bag?

As always thanks for your help

borrow the dish detergent and spray the bags with it to see the leak.
