I didnt think about that but I think thier new ones are plastic too......at least the ones for defenders....thats a good factor to point out though.

hmm...

Damnit....now im just going to have to custom make mine with black PVC.....perhaps ill buy the accesories and top from mantec.

I wonder why I didnt think of that in the first place....rusting that is......oh well, it will be cheaper if I do it myself anyhow. Maybe ill paint it flat black.

the safari's don't look that bad and I'd rather have something that doesn't rust. But think about this, the snorkel for the LR3 is so fugly it's not even funny.

It is pretty much just personal preference . I got my Mantec from Stephen at SafariRover For $350 +shipping , it was about the same price as the Safari Snorkel, I just wanted it to be a little more factory looking . Believe me I would probably go with the Safari if I had a light colored truck , they look tough !

their are two pics of one on a customized LR3 at a dealer. Has some very ugly mods plus it's 65k for an SE with no hd-package. Back to snorkels i would see if you can get the southdown snorkle somehow

Here's a question for the Aussie members--What is the difference between the Safari and TJM snorkels? they look like the same thing
